I'm looking for ideas on how to access my library of mp3 files with a very light system. Ideally it would be a very small computer running mpd with integrated audio speakers, like a guruplug but with a sound card and speakers.

If you want to keep it light and simple, you can't go wrong with buying a pair of Audioengine A2 powered speakers for $200, plug it into your computer, iPod, mp3 player, etc. - and bang! There you are. Good sound, cheap and easy.
