I found something more reasonably sized, and a bit of history on the company.

Diatone was a division of the Japanese electronics manufacturer Mitsubishi Electric which made loudspeaker drivers and home and studio loudspeaker systems. It was founded in 1945 to manufacture monitor speakers for NHK Japanese Broadcasting Corporation and was closed down in 1999.

Now that you mention it, I noted the girl image is exactly the same on both photos, maybe a photoshop collage.

The diatone speaker is simply one of those standard boxes used by recording studios of yore to evaluate how a recording would sound on an car am radio speaker.

The charming lady standing by the speaker is one of the twin goddesses from Mothra

A HILARIOUS thread

Years ago I was in Las Vegas and got to see George Clooney standing next to Cameron Diaz in a casino. Both were shockers! She is 6' 3" and even better looking in person, Clooney is about Lonewolfe's size in the cute photo above.

I'd certainly like to think so, but its probably far more likely its Scott's experience and ability to put together synergistic components rather than his specific choice of cords. Darn....

Mitsubishi Diatone 610MB. Had these for 10 years (well actually still in my possession but not longer in the main rig). Tried to get rid of them for the last 7 but nothing came close until a couple of years back. Love / hate relationship. Beautiful vocals but everything else a little bit of a challenge.
