Just want to find out everyone's opinions on the different brands of interconnects and speaker wires they prefer.

DIY Cable (Cardas)?

Canare stuff (quad stars, etc)?

Audioquest?

??

Bolder Ntro's w/bybee jumpers are the only way to go, IMHO.

I don't know about the "ONLY" way to go because I haven't tried all the others, but Nitro's w/Bybee jumpers sure are great on my 40's and my 30!

I always wanted to be part of a group that compared speaker cable or power cords.  I've never been able to do any real type of comparison on my system, as it's too hard to get the gear into and out of my rack. The best I've done is compared the A/D from my CDP with the A/D from my preamp.  (Using different cables)  And even this took going back and forth for the same part of the song, over and over again.  I just bought some cheap cable that's been well reviewed and it'd be interesting to compare it with better, more expensive cable.

I am using Argent Audio Pursang for mid/treble and Sonoran Desert Plateau for the woofers.

I have never had the chance to hear Wayne's ic's or cables.

I'm using Grover SR speaker wire and ICs.

I'm getting great results with Gregg Straley's IC's and speaker cabling.

What do you think about Sonoran Plateau (v. Pursang, other cables)?

Eichmann eXpress 6 Series 2 speaker cables, best i've heard!
Some cables may outperform them I'm not sure.. I do believe you would have to spend a lot more to beat them and if only by a little.
The word will be out shortly on these.. very very good regardless of their relatively low price.

How did they compare to your Ridge Street's?

For whatever reason the Ridge Streets SC's did not fare to well in my system.  I had to turn the pots way down on my 626R's to get close to the sound I like but still just couldn't get there.  I can see how the Ridge Streets would blend in a system that is low on the flaw meter, I do feel they may have exposed some of my systems however.  Currently I am using an stock SA-XR45 along woth a stock Pioneer DV-656A with my 626R's.
Strangely Robert's digital has worked great in my system?
With the Eichmann I am able to turn my pots back up and get closer to the music.   Awesome seperation of notes, transparent, very good detail and just a great top to bottom sound that can take you out of analytical mode pretty quickly.

I hosted Robert Schult and Steve Rothermel (sp?) yesterday.  Steve brought 2 sets of Poeima analog IC's, a new MSE Gen III  (?) digital IC and Poeima speaker wires.

With only a little time on them I can say I'm getting more bass through the speakers with the Ridge Street cables then with the Nitro's.  I have made no adjustments to my speakers.

At this point I don't have enough time on them to make any other comments.

If price were not a factor I think I would chose the RSE Poeima speaker cables over the Nitro's.
