Evil pixels destroy Photoshopper's will

Ahhhrrrggh!  I don't know exactly what this stuff is on the emulsion, (I mean, besides being Pure Evil™) mold, oxidation or what, but it's a freaggin' nightmare.

If that's from a film negative, it kinda looks like the emulsion is chipping off, maybe from old age or some tiny insect likes the taste of it? Could be anything............ It would take some time, but using the cloning tool and/or healing tool in photoshop could eventually give you a good print. Depends how bad you want it.
