Up for sale is an AD1865 DAC purchased from fellow AC'er Chris Adams about 9 months ago. This DAC is a very nice DIY effort by Chris.

The basic DAC and transformer were purchased by Chris on ebay from raindrop_hui. Check this thread around page 7
http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=78737.0Chris upgraded many capacitors, the AD1865 chip, input and output resistors on the output stage are TX2575 (4 pieces). Main power caps are Nichicon Gold Tune 10,000uf bypassed by .47uf Solens. Output caps are 4.7uf Auricaps. Lampizator mod, silver wire for SPDIF, just about a complete do over. RCAs are gold over copper.
I bought the DAC to hold me over until I built my Buffalo III(never did...see my posting for the Buffalo

). I am currently trying TedB's Mytek and have recently purchased and am trying a Lindemann USB-DAC 24/192 (XMOS chipset).
Asking $175 $150Thanks for looking,
Randy
