How long til the REAL RotK comes out?

So far, IMOHO, the extended versions of the first two LotR movies creams the standard theatrical version. I just bought LotR: RotK, because, well, I just can't wait!

But I'm awfully anxious for the "real" version to be released.

Does anyone (ok, I guess I mean Bubba966

) know when the Xtended version is due?

Why are you shocked that I don't know the date?

Could it be because I know a good friend of the guy that's producing the SE set?

Or is it just because I usually know such things?

All I can find is what I spoke of. Nor do I really care as it's about 6 months off at the time.

But it does look like I should look into it even further as there's a few people around here that would like to know the SD for it.

Both good reasons!

Let us know if you hear something more specific. Maybe I'll just have to be patient- I didn't realize it might be 6 months out.
