Wayne,

Is there such a thing as an audiophile extension cord?  In my new place (July 7th), my audio gear will be six feet from an outlet.  I have your AC power bar, but it won't reach.

How deleterious would it be to connect the AC bar to an extension cord? (Say something along the lines of something heavy duty from Home Depot/Lowes/etc.)

Would you build a Nitro AC extension cord (outlet and IEC connector) of say, six feet?

Thanks!

Sure,

I can build an extension cord any length you wish, I can make really short ones that you can plug you wall warts into so they won't take up so much space on the power bar.

A six foot NITRO ext. cord would set you back around $100.00

A one foot would be $35.00

Wayne, that sounds pretty good.  What connectors would you use?

Another option would be to send my power bar back to you and have you put a long run of Nitro wire on it.

What do you think would be the way to go?

Thanks again!

send it back to him to put a longer cord on it.  Avoid the extra connectors if possible.  My $.02.

I agree with JoshK.  So now you have $.04

The price I quoted would use WattGate & Marinco 15 amp connectors.

I could remove the cable that is on the Power Bar and replace it with a longer NITO for close to the same price. Having the fewest connections would be the best.

If anyone else is interested, the Power Bar has 6 outlets, all Acme Audio Silver plated and I can make the cable any length anyone would want.

Bybee Purifiers are optional with it. It does have a 15 amp breaker and an power switch.
