Did you receive a customs bill?

A USA Customs bill for over $100 arrived a few days after three Ncore amps/three PS. Am I the only one feeling Customs love?

Is it a bill from US CUSTOMS or a brokerage fee from our friends at UPS?

I think it's just a fee. They wanted a check on delivery for $72, like COD.

If you have a UPS accnt they will just bill it.

Hi Guys

The bills you are getting is the 4.9% import duty you have to pay when importing good from outside the US.

As well as the duty there is a small 'merchandizing fee' on top.

Anyway you should all feel smug because the DIYers in the EU have to stump up 19% Value Added Tax for the same goods from Hypex.

And as pointed out, the shipper (UPS) collects this for Uncle Sam !!
