 You know what would be cool? An animation of the Earth rushing past in real time, full speed, past a stationary camera. From say half the distance to the moon.

I heard from a friend that while he was viewing the Venus transit the space station also when in front of the sun from his location.

REALLY?  Where was he?  I was out shooting and got Venus and sunspots.  It'd ROCK if I got the ISS, too! :drool:

Yes, that would have been awesome. He was in north Georgia, near the town of Young Harris. Might have been mistaken but I doubt it, he's pretty sharp about this stuff.

After further review, most likely not the ISS, maybe some other satellite. :-(  Apologies for the false excitement.
