Think Game Of Thrones on steroids but with a dark edge.
My wife and I enjoyed this one over the weekend.Beautifully shot.

GoT not dark enough for ya?

I've not seen Snow White yet, but I was imagining more of "Once upon a time" with teeth

Disagree .  They had to make her up that way to suit the character :duh:?.  Didn't that one get her the Oscar?

Saw the Snow White movie pre-release screening, can't complain.  It's just a Therize show IMHO.  They spend all that dough on her costumes......  it's got to look good. :thumb:

She gained 30 lbs for the role, they applied liquid latex to her skin every day and added freckles, made her skin look heavy and leathery, etc.

Here's a picture of her with zero (or very minimal) makeup on.  She's not unattractive.

Enjoyable film, better than I expected but when you look at the budget still begs the question - is this the best you could do for $200 million?

Would have made a great Terry Gilliam film.

After years of remaining silent on the issue, I can no longer keep my mouth shut.

I'll continue to use the phrase irregardless of it's proper context.

They could have easily chopped 45 minutes off the film to make it tolerable.  My wife and I nearly walked out.
