James,

What the status of NAS support with the BDP-1?

I am not keen on any HDrive in my music room so NAS solves that issue

thanks,

Peter

We are looking at it Peter but no immediate plans.  So far we prefer attached drives.

Until the prices come way down on the larger drives, SSD's aren't really an option for many of us.

I spoke with Chris at the Montreal show and he said that this is planned for the end of the year... Once this is supported, I am buying a BDP-1. At the moment I am running my own MPD / Ubuntu server.

My feelings as well.

We all have our own fetishes when it comes to our gear and one for me is NO PC/PC peripherals in my listening room... even a SSD drive.

Once NAS is supported, the check book is opening

Came a long way since 1 month ago James?  :D
Saw you even started to raise the bdp1's price... For a feature only 40 days ago you thought not to be of very high priority.

Glad you changed your minds!
