Would the Ella be a good match for the mids and highs for VMPS RM-2 in a biamp situation? Thanks,Paul

PTC:   I don't really have any input because I don't have any experience with the speaker or application.   Brian can probably give you better advice concerning this type of question than I.   The Ella is pretty forgiving of load so if the mid/tweet are anything near a reasonable load there shouldn't be a problem in terms of driving them.

if the amp can handle a load that dips to just below 4R (as Kevin suggested) I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work.  I have used a Cary V12 full range on my RM40s and while it didn't have the upmost control at loud volumes it did fairly well and pushing the speakers.  In a biamp situation I would imagine a tube amp such as an ELLA should work out nice.

I was using a pair of Decware Zen model C's for the top of my RM2's and they worked fine. The Ella should have no problems.
