I am so-so on Paul Thomas Anderson - there is such a thing as being too talented. He just throws whatever comes out of his head on the screen whether it works or not and is brilliant enough to get away with it.

Certainly brilliant enough to secure Joaquin Phoenix an Oscar nod from just a trailer alone, IMO.
