the cabinets were built by http://www.signatureaudiolabs.com/ and cost $1200 - custom design, all holes cut, No-Rez installed, and finish sanded.  I'll be leaving them bare ply, but might put a light walnut stain on to warm them up a bit without ruining the stacked ply look.

I'm in the process of working with our CNC shop to provide birch ply cabinets as an option. Once I have all of the information quotes will be available.

Rick, i think you have said before that the raal doesnt have to be flush mounted. Would there be any problem if someone flush mount them? Is there any need to tweak the crossover?
I cant tell wether the acutton is flused or not, but since we are at this, that goes to the acutton as well.
Thanks.

The Accuton mid and woofer are flush. The tweeter frame is fairly thin so the small amount of offset shouldn't make a difference.

Would the type of ply used make a difference to the sound. I know Marshall used brich ply for their guitar speaker cabinets and combos. We get a ply made from teak wood in India.

BTW I posted a picture of my unfinished Tempesta Extreme here

and some pictures of the Extreme, a subwoofer less RC4 and it's matching center here
