I ALWAYS wanted one of these. They were legendary for SQ, hanging with the big boys for a penny. People would rave about these. I got to visit Adire a couple times, and I heard the Shiva, and bigger Tempest, just wow.
My Brahma's are the car audio version of the Tumult HT sub, but they can be tuned to play very very low, and are actually known for their low frequency high quality prowess. I believe their motor structure, XBL^2 was revolutionary at the time, mid 2000's. Dan Wiggins, who I met more than a few times, actually once showed us the coolest far field speakers I've ever hear to this day. It was a custom brew they played in the warehouse.
Each speaker was the size and shape of a dishwasher. Inside you had their special coax speaker at the time, which was considered a super nice speaker, and their Tumult 15'. Inside the cabinet. It was MIND BLOWING.
<- Adire junkie. They hopped out of the business just before the recession hit.
