[/b]I have for sale a used AVA Van Alstine Insight+ Double 240 amplifier in a very nice Dyna ST-150 chassis (with the most recent Insight+ upgrade – Nov. 2011). It has the double die option which doubles the output mos-fet die area and doubles the thermal and current capacity of the amplifier. Same performance, just a different shaped chassis than the AVA 240 chassis and complete with nice walnut side panels. 

I am asking $595 includes shipping.  Shipping from 54482 with weight listed at 32 pounds.  Am also open to offers.

Note that the Insight+ Double 240 built in a Dyna St-150 chassis is identical in performance to one built in our own AVA chassis.  A new Double 240 is $1087 so the asking price for this one is very reasonable and probably the best used amp you could hope to find for the money.

Has this been sold yet? If not what are the dimensions and can it go in a cabinet or does it run hot?

Still for sale.  Sorry for the delay.  Was away for a wedding and didn't get to this website.  The unit is:  14 3/4" wide, 13 3/4" deep and 6 1/2" in height.  It doesn't run hot.  I have it in a cabinet.

FWIW, this amp is still for sale.  Please note Mr. Van Alstine's comments about this amplifier above.  Plus, as Frank recently posted: . . . "if you own an OmegaStar or Insight 240 built in a Dyna ST-150 chassis, we can now provide you with a Synergy upgrade."    

Buy this amp, have it sent to Frank for an upgrade and away you go!!!  Just a thought
