Really enjoying the Bryston Phono Pre...

We're almost finished with our review of the Bryston BP 1.5 Phono and it's pretty impressive.  Gotta love a preamp where the power supply weighs more than the preamp itself!

Should be done shortly, and it will be featured front and center on our new website, analogaholic.com

Thanks TONEPUB

You know the Bryston Phono Stage I think is one of the unsung heroes in our lineup and tends to get ignored by many. Thank you for taking the time to audition it - much appreciated :thumb:

That's too bad. Even thought I just have the MM phono stage in my BP6, I gotta taste of what the full BP 1.5 is like. It's a winner!

Whats the msrp on this thing

Phono Stage (C-SERIES) BP 1.5

Outboard Moving Magnet/Moving Coil Stage - $3,195.00

(Must be used with MPS-2 Power Supply - Not Included)

MPS-2 Power Supply Power Supply Only - $1,695.00

If you have our BP26 preamp the power supply is included so you only have to add the BP1.5.

+1 ...

still have to buy a record player that can do justice to the BP 1.5.

considering the Clearaudio Concept or Innovation: http://www.clearaudio.de/_de/Laufwerke.php

Need a longer interconnect to the Mps-2 though. Is that available?
