The amps are under the floor near the subs, and the EQ now resides on top of the amps.

I might be paranoid, but I thought of the same thing and the thing that made me pause was if there was some sort of failure in the amp and it caught fire.  You wouldn't see it.   As a cautionary measure, i'd coat the ceiling and trusses some distance around your amps with some kind of flashing.   Probably not necessary, but piece of mind.

I'm aware that the music choice may not be everyone's cup of tea!
Thanks for the video though. I love seeing videos of listening rooms!  :thumb:

My VMPS VLA subs with the RM-V60s crossed over at 60Hz.  The photos above are older.  The ones below are current with my new room treatments.

Sweet! I'd love to hear that setup.

Although the system is physically large it completely disappears once the music begins with all the drivers working with a single voice.  The scale and width of the performance can be huge when called for, yet also small and intimate as well.  With my own recordings it will place a solo acoustic performer right there in the room with me.

I would show mine, but my subs are out of sight, but that doesn't mean yours is and this is the place to show off your bass!

Bass management at the michaelhigh abode, 4 JBL E-140's (15") in Bag End II's and a Crown XLS-802, 800 wpc @ 4 ohms/side. In this iteration it's my stage rig, minus the mono-in-stereo-out do-everything bass guitar preamp is how it's set up now. :green:

4 15 inch TC Sounds Axis drivers in DIY sealed boxes with 4 Behringer ep2500 amps.

Eq is with 2 Behringer DEQ2496 units.

I've had them as low as flat to 12 hz at >115db.
The lights used to dim at the old house!

Now I've got 100 audio amps on 5 different circuits.

Later,
Todd

OK, not mine, but still bass porn.  The Krell MRS Master Reference Subwoofer.  Solid billet aluminum cabinet with 1" top / bottom / sides and 2-1/4" end baffles.  2 x 15" opposed drivers driven by Krell 2600W amplifier.  400 lbs.

Couldn't resist!  But here in the Ozarks "Billy Bass" used to be a "must have" audio accessory to any paneled room!

Not at all paranoid, a friend just had a resistor fail in one of his amps and he said the flames were quite spectacular.

All weather Bass, waterproof and when the hunger strikes, nourishing.  Whomever said that Man can live off from BASS alone?  He sure can live off from this Bass.  hahahaha :thumb:
