Bohlender Graebener Reviews??
« on: 19 May 2012, 07:59 pm »
I would love input from those out there who own BGCorp loudspeakers. I have been listening to the RD-75's for several years now,and I haven't found any other planar speaker that even exceeds the performance of these wonderful transducers.  I've listened to Maggies,Martin Logan,Soundlab,Apogee, and others. Maybe I'm just blowin in the wind!! but matchin' tubes with the BG's!!!! just doesn't come any better!!

Satie uses the Neo-8 in his modified Tympani IV's. Also lots of threads on the BG's on the DIY audio planar forum.

Good question Denny.

Why don't you start by sharing what's going on with your speakers? I like what you have done with the sloped baffle. How low they they go at crossover and what did you do for bass? Those 75s can't be made dipole can they?

How do you find them better than the true ribbon speakers you mentioned as I find it hard to believe theh 75s would be as fast or lively.
