a rhetorical question and "i'm not announcing anything at this point", "i do happen to know quite a bit about those new speakers" seems pretty clear to me.
i was considering purchasing a pair of Fried Monitor7 speakers before i sent jim my down payment. the Fried web site says there are "new products coming soon". that was posted within the last month, after i ordered from mr salk. i told jim he was under a lot of pressure to build me something that would not make me regret choosing Salk. as it turns out, jim might be competing against himself

I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your speakers.  Which model are you purchasing?  I bought the original HT2 from Jim in 2008 and had them shipped to Australia.  I still really like the speakers.  I replaced my nuforce s9's (I still use them for HT purposes) with the HT2's and they were cheaper and sounded at least a level better.

ST's.  jim really seems to like my wife and i  so, i wouldnt be surprised if a pair of SS8's show up at my door. he is making so many of them these days, why change out the cabinetry hardware? i DO have the room, jim.

the "Salk family" told me about Fried and i was way out of line by even insinuating their upcoming relationship. i apologize.  it will be quite interesting to follow the upcoming Fried line. good luck in your new endevour, jim!
