Chuck Brown - The Godfather of Go-Go dead at 75

RIP Chuck Brown

Go-Go =  Washington, DC

Chuck Brown may not be extremely well known, but has been extremely influential - he'll be missed. If Go-Go is too funky for you, you can check out his duet album with Eva Cassidy "The Other Side"

I got my Go-go on back in the Day. :banana piano:

This NPR Tiny Desk Concert was pretty good especially considering the guy was in his 70s.  Nothing like seeing him live in DC but you get the vibe for sure.

Thanks to both of you for the reference to that Eva Cassidy album, and that link to the Tiny Desk Concert, which I am listening to right now.
I knew of Chuck and his influence, but had forgotten the man.
Duck Dunn also passed away this week.
The mortal wheel turns...
