Hi, Thanks for the ideas, should have added I am in the UK, and budget of around £500
... I dont really have room for bipole speakers to take advantage of the 4 Ohm (two 8 Ohm drivers in parallel) as they would need to go near rear walls. Listening room is not massive and deep bass is not a priority.

Thanks Dave, I am aware of the Mark Audio drivers, its just the sensitivity that I am a little wary of.I got reasonable volume with the Decware and the 80dB monitors mentioned, but really would like a fair bit more headroom. (not a headbanger by any means though)
