LOTR--ROTK. . . special edition?

Does anyone know when the special edition is coming out?

I missed this one in the theatres. . .I was sitting in my seat, previews came on, then I got nauseous. . .I took antibiotics on an empty stomach (never happened to me like that before). . .anywho, so I missed the movie.

I will just wait to buy the special edition before I watch it. . .I have the other 2 SEs. . .

The only info I can find on the SE release is "in time for the holidays".

So I can guess that to probably mean November as the other 2 SE releases were then...

After viewing both the 'normal' and extended versions, I wish I would've waited till the extended version to see them. The 2 towers especially... So much made sense to have and I didn't understand why it was deleted. I could've stayed in the theater the extra few minutes.....

My wife has to have both versions. I don't know why. So, we'll have both versions of all 3 by 'the holidays'.... Seems like a waste to me but, not to her.

So, maybe get both... you can see it the way it was in the theater first and then watch the second one and say... ohh... why didn't they leave that in?...
