Great pics man!

What speakers are with the Halcro?!

That Blue Circle amp is HUGE!!!

Has anyone seen pics of the Piega/Perreaux room?

I went with HH on Friday to the show and the Tetra room was one of our favorites.

These speakers with the Birdland dac and little 18 watt amp did a great job on Rusted Root and Uncle Tupelo (my choices) and what HH played (I can't remember right now).

Imaging was spot on and they were detailed while being very musical.

The only downside was that the speakers we heard START at $10K.

The jr's were also good but we weren't allowed to play our own music and barely could ask any questions.  They played four 1 minute cuts and one 2 minute cut to highlight the system.  For small speakers I thought they were dynamic and well balanced.  Of course it helps to have around $30K in electronics with your $4K speaker!

I'm going to put the rooms in good/OK/bad:

Good:
Innersound/Linn
Linn
Focus/Blue Circle
Reference 3a/ASL
Piega/Perreaux
Epiphany Audio/Tenor
Alon/Conrad Johnson
Von Schweikert/VAC
Silverline
MBL
Joseph Audio/Manley
JM Lab/BAT
Devore Fidelity/Sim Audio
Totem/Plinius
Lamm/Karma
Creek/Epos
Vandersteen/Rogue

OK:
VTL/JM Lab
Atmasphere/Gilmore
Cyrus/Wilson Benesh
Jadis/some horn speaker
Music Hall
Gallo

Bad:
Naim- I was surprised by this because I usually like Naim
Lamm and some super gigantic and extremely strident 10 foot wide horns on the concourse level.
Thiel/Musical Fidelity
Audio Note/Simon Yorke/and some horn speaker

George, Thanks for the feedback.. I almost bought the Tetra Space (now the 405) about 2 years ago. They sure have gone up in price. 30K worth of electronic's sure can't hurt..

Thanks again,

Gary

Are some of the images too dark?  It might just be my monitor.  If not, I can adjust them so you guys can see better.

I'll try to add the equipment name to each of the photos as time permits as well as some comments.

Today was the best day for me at the show! Rooms were not crowded and I got to sit in the "sweet spot" and play my own selections in a LOT of rooms.  Cool :thumb:

Frank,

Great pics and thanks for posting.

Did any rooms improve or get worse as compared to what we heard on Friday?

For some reason, I always pictured Klaus as an old guy.

No one else has an opinion on the rooms aside from Zybar and myself?
