I'm curious about the modification potential of the Jasmine phono pre amp. I owned the SE before. And it excelled in transparany, resolution and staging and am contemplating picking up a mk2 to modify in hopes of weening out a little more of an organic quality and tonal saturation.
There's bits and pieces out there on mods, but nothing too central and informative.
From what ive gathered, changing the umbilical cord to something after market is a good first step.
Cruz first seems to offer the installation of mundorf supreme caps as well as additional shielding and vibration control.
Phili Holmes says the power supply caps are a big bang for the buck to change.
For me, the non DIY kind, I'm not even sure what to source (and values) to try and nag a friend into installing for me.
Any ideas on bringing this good phono to greatness?
