SOLD: Crimson Audio 1 meter balanced interconnects
« on: 11 May 2012, 04:13 am »
I sold my balanced preamp and no longer have need for these balanced interconnects, so am "cleaning out the shop" of some extra kit. These retail for $537.  I am asking $250, Paypal fee included.

These rarely come up for sale used, as Crimson builds world class interconnects at affordable prices.  A few years ago, I did an extensive search for state of the art interconnects, and demo'd WyWires, Gabriel Gold Raptures, LessLoss, Tara Labs, Cardas Golden Reference, PAD Acqueous Anniversary, and a few others that I have forgotten.  None of these other interconnects compete with Crimsons -- which are exceptionally fast, open, and full-sounding cables. I have replaced these balanced IC's with single-ended Crimson IC's, which I now use exclusively in both my stereo rig and my headphone rig.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.  And thanks for looking.

I don't know minimus at all, but I want to just add a note on the Crimson cables.  I recabled my referrence system with Crimson ICs and speaker cables a few months ago after going through all kinds of cabling at all (or most) price level wires and these are simply amazing, never mind that they cost a whole lot less than a lot of the exotics they handily match or outperform.

I'm actually so confident in them that I'll soon be captively wiring my speakers with them, and for anybody who knows me and how much gear I've gone through in the last 8 years, that's pretty significant.

Good luck with the sale,

Jim

Bump.  I lowered my asking price.  My username on Audiogon is mcondon, where I have a perfect feedback score.  My e-mail address is m.condon@earthlink.net (very similar to my Audiogon username) if anyone has any questions.
