jvc rx-es1 home cinema problem

hi guys i have a problem with my jvc rx-es1 home cinema amp i was working fine then i wasnt getting any sound out it then the lcd display stopped working. i took the cover off it noticed that one of the glass fuses had blown so i replaced that but as soon as i switch it on from standby it blows the fuse straight away.

Sorry, but my diagnostic abilities might run out pretty quickly, but the first thing I'd try, would be to disconnect all[/i] wires from the back, replace the fuse and turn it on again. That will rule out an external short.

thats actually  not a bad idea never thought of that.




should i just leave the wire going to the transformer connected then.

thing is there is nothing connected to the back.
