« on: 8 May 2012, 04:19 pm »
Hello,

Can someone please confirm the values on this old wax capacitor for me. I really have no experience with these old components.

The numbers are 24-0001A

thanks

at first i assumed that it was 24uF but that doesn't really make sense in the high pass crossover...

it's not a cap. it's a coil.

Hi.
it's not a cap. it's a coil.

Take it out & measure it with a digital multi-meter with inductance function.
