Why it worked I don't know. Kind of suprised me like when I changed the power cable on my CD player and noticed major improvements. Miles of dirty power lines and a few feet of cable at the end makes a major improvent. Go figure? ...
Isn't it fairly obvious, Max? The power cable you originally used was a poor sample of the breed. You changed it and this produced results. And ultimately, it could be just a "little" thing, like less series impedance, or capacitance, or inductance, or all three in some mix.
But the point is you made it happen. Now imagine what might happen if you used a good power line filter ...
