Hi Folks
I am going to use the BDP-1 with Toshiba Thrive and I will share the process here.
I ordered them in two different time but I got them in the same day last week and I did not have the time to set it up yet.Tomorrow first thing in the morning I will set it up.I bought the BDA-1 also and waiting for it right now.
My Accuphase DAC is not for hi-res and I can use it up to 48/24.I just thought to give a try.I  download a album from HDTRACK @ 44/16 and connect it to the dac.The sound is exceptonal and my noise and hum is -0-.Even if you go close to tweeter you cannot hear any thing.

Yes,But for now and cannot wait till get the BDA-1 which I ordered last week.

Yes I think a lot of people think the BDP only makes sense if you are using high resolution files but like you I find all types of files sound better including ripped CD's

Ok,here is the Toshiba Thrive and Bryston BDP-1 works perfect.



I do not get the cover art and I do not know why.I will find out later and let you guys know.
The set up was very easy.I did it before coffee was ready this morning.
The Toshiba is android 3.2 honeycomb and I am using MPDROID interface which is available free in android marketplace.

I can not navigate it by my laptop I go to this page and nothing works.I cannot click and open any thing here.any idea??

Looks like it is not connecting to the network.  Make sure the laptop is seeing the IP address of the BDP. Is it a PC?

Yes,it is a pc with windows 7 and when I put the IP address it won't read it.

OK download Bonjour for Windows or better yet Safari browser which contains Bonjour.  Bonjour is a program that goes out and looks for devices on the network and lets you connect.

Also use Chrome, Firefox or Safari browser with the BDP-1 not Explorer.

What a great way to start a Friday morning.I got the BDA-1 last night but came home late so I had to test drive it this morning.After a very long time finally I bought some thing that put a smile on my face.
I heard the BDP-1+ BDA-1 in a lot of different set up at the shows.But none of them were close to what I hear in my room.Just to make sure I will pay very close attention again when I go to the show.
The bass is first rate and I can count the slams and the string instruments.
I do not think silver/gold fuse or power cord would do anything better but to improve the rest of the system could be heaven.
I very happy.
