Welcome to AC,The 2004 is the original Mondial design which was designed by Dan D'Augostino of Krell fame.the Mondial made Aragon's enjoyed a very good reputation and later on they were bought out by Klipsch. there is a primer on Ebay that has lot's of information on the Aragon amplifiers. does your 2004 sound good to you?
