Parting with my very beloved classic. Well known for its excellent sonics with somewhat of a cult following of fans and tweakers.

I purchased this one new and its never been modified, never even been opened or repaired. Works great and sounds great.

The RCD-855 has that rare combination of palpable and smooth sound while having the most bass slam of any player I have owned or heard in my system, which is 10-12 or so players through the years.

I now listen to a music server for the convinience and I have a Marantz player for my high resolution discs.

I have the original box and packing materials, manual and remote control. Cosmetically and mechanicaly the unit is in very good shape.
