iTunes sync as in the backups updating the songs? If so that works really well for me. I use my apple account to do the actual backup and then it syncs songs from my mac mini. Every once in a while it gets stalled from a few unrelated iTunes pops ups (new download, ripping cd).
If you mean AirPlay that works out very well, i can stream to any of the ATVs in the house and even my desktop computer, but all have to be registered under the same apple id for that to work.
