***SOLD***Butler Audio TDB 2250 Hybrid Amp

Hello All
Up for sale is the amazing Butler Audio TDB2250 amp.  This amp is rarely up for sale on the used market and for good reason.  Its a one of a kind patented design that is highly underpriced.  This amp has gotten rave reviews all over the web.

Here's an excerpt of one review here on AC:

Musical, warm and dynamic -- that is Butler Audio’s own descriptions for its amp.   I would certainly agree.

The simplest review would be to say that I had great sound before the Butler; now I have great music.  If I had only one adjective to describe the sound it would be intimate (probably because I listen to a lot of jazz).   The Butler provides plenty of detail, and is very transparent, but without spotlighting.  It is extended in the frequency extremes, but naturally so.  There is never a shortage of power, but it is refined.   I’m confident this amp would mate well with any speaker that needs lots of current.   Anyone who has B&Ws should give them a listen.   The amp is very quiet, perhaps because it doesn’t have an output transformer, and doesn’t need to be pampered

Six Moons review:

I've had this amp for slightly over 1 year and it is in mint condition 9/10.  I bought it as a slightly used demo.  It has the deep bias mod right from the factory.  Comes in original manufacturer boxes.  Sells new for $2995.  My asking price is $1525, buyer pays shipping and paypal.  I will accept money orders but if you want paypal then add 3.5% fee.  Thanks.

For any Maggie lovers out there, this is a great amp to pair with them. I've had my Butler amps for over six years and have no desire to change a thing. BK Butler used to run shows with  Jim Winey and Magnepan, and it's a fantastic match for any model except the 20s. Before I biamped my 3.6s, I was using a single channel per speaker from my Butler 5150, which is 150wpc...the 2250 has even more current on tap and is the perfect combo of solid state balls with a touch of tube warmth.

This amp would be great for just about any speaker, but Maggie owners should take particular notice, IMO.

Also a great amp with my SP Tech (now Aether Audio) Minis. I believe Butler and SP Tech were also paired together at audio shows in the past as well.

I agree with everything said about the tube driver blue amps. I have the TDB-3150 driving the front 3  channels of my home theater using Onix Strata Mini mains and it sounds very good. Highly recommend BK Butler's amps.

I'm shocked that this amp is still available. I've heard this Butler and it sounds fantastic. Truly a tube sound with solid state power. For the price, this is a steal.
