I am the original owner of this beautiful piece of gear. I'm going to post it here before I do so on Audiogon because my fellow brothers here at Audio Circle are more familiar with the level of quality we're talking about. This is the Standard version of the 10A and it has a special HT Bypass featured added for those who may wish to integrate their HT rig into their 2-channel one. I am the original owner and it has lived in a smoke-free environment.

I've had a couple AC'ers ask me why in the world I would sell this preamp...let me just take a minute to state that I LOVE the 10a, and when I go back to a 2-channel preamp, it will be either another 10A or an 11A. I'm selling it because I live in an apartment, and I've found that due to the environment Im in, headphones are the better option for right now. I don't feel that I can fully take advantage of the SAS right now since I keep late hours and can't really listen to 2-chanel in the manner I prefer. Additionally, Im likely going to need some dental work done, and this is the piece I own that will be the most sought after since it's considered by many to be a giant killer. But to be clear, there's nothing I've found that I like better and there's nothing about this pre that I don't like...it's a game changer, IMO, and it'll take your system to another level just like it did mine.

Punches way out of it's weight class IMO. I have a modified 7a with Jena labs wiring that is in the same league, but not at the same level as the 10a and 11a.

It's already sold but I agree with the comments in this thread. The 10A is the best sounding preamp I have ever owned or tried in my system.

To the guy who purchased the preamp, congrats, you are in for a treat. Also , I've tried different tubes and really like Genelex Gold Lion 6922 tubes. They are relatively inexpensive and very quiet. I liked the stock JJ tubes but like the Genelex more in my system.

Thanks for the tube recommendations Jack. I have been wanting a SAS pre for awhile now. I can't wait to get this pre in my system.
