Cmd-Tab in Screen Sharing
« on: 10 Apr 2012, 12:02 pm »
This is something I have never been able to figure out the pattern to. (I figure this is OK here in the Apple core since I am using Screen Sharing to control my music server...)

Sometimes, Cmd-Tab switches between applications on the remote computer, and sometimes, it switches between applications on the local computer. Would anyone know what determines when it does what? I'm absolutely mystified.

I normally switch to Lion's full screen mode to get around that.... so the cmd-tab works well for that remote desktop session, and just swipe to return to the other apps.   Of course you will have the issue of swiping on any full screen remote desktop apps.

Swipe? I'm using an Air as client.

Lion feature, 3 or 4 finger swipe across the touchpad allows you to move to the next desktop if you've enabled multiple desktops.     it greatly improves the alt-tab issue, but creates a new one.
