Hello.

I'm selling my Heed Audio Obelisk Si Dual Mono Integrated Amplifier with built-in 1.0 DACtilus coax DAC card and X2 Power Supply. This combo sounds smooth and is the perfect match for a wide range of speakers. It has a sound that in many positive ways sounds similar to tubes. It's not bloated or overly sweet like some tubes. It has great solid bass drive, mid-range warmth and a nice smooth and natural treble.

With the X2 Power Supply the unit puts out 50 wpc @ 8 ohms, and 80 wpc @ 4 ohms. The power actually sounds more powerful than the watts would have you believe. I drive my Newform Research R645 ribbons to reference levels without so much as a strain. Although you won't want to drive it this hard, it's good to know the amplifier technology inside the Heed Audio Obelisk Si is designed to clip gracefully, again similar to tubes.

The Obelisk Si comes with the 1.0 DACtilus DAC module installed. It works perfectly and sounds great. This would be a great addition to a high end system or office system because it is a complete solution; Pre, Amp, DAC.

This is a fantastic, compact, sleek, awesome sounding amplification (and DAC) system that has given me many good listing sessions.

I am the second owner. I purchased it from an authorized Heed Audio dealer who was the first owner.

I have all the packing materials, remote, cables and instructions. Both the Obelisk and X2 are about 4 years old.

Using the Obelisk Si with the X2 Power Supply is a night day and day improvement on the sound quality. The amplifier gives the Obelisk more authority, power, and dynamic ability.

The Si has the built-in Coax DAC option. An internal card which uses the left input of input 1 as a really nice DAC. This is the same DAC card found in the Heed DACtilus. This internal DAC was around a $400 option.

The X2 still has the plastic protective film on the black plexi front and both are in great condition. The Obelisk Si does have some smudges on the top case which can be seen in the pictures. Also I've used aftermarket feet on the bottom which were stuck on.

Also included is the remote control, and shorting plug and (2) power cords.

These units retailed for $1,650 (plus $400 for internal dac) and $1,150 respectively, $3,200 investment total.

I'm asking for $1400 obo.

Thanks for looking.

I do realize that this is well over a year old, but is your Heed still for sale? :thumb:
