What Body Part would you sell?
« on: 6 Apr 2012, 09:56 pm »
I was reading an article about a teen in China who sold his kidney to buy an iphone.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/06/teen-sells-kidney-iphone_n_1408042.html?ref=world

So I was wondering what body part I would sell for Bryston gear, and what product.

Well I'm a chicken at heart so as much as I would like the new Model T speakers. I would be too afraid to go under the knife. Heck I'm too chicken to go to the dentist.

Okay, so what body part could you part with and sell and for which Bryston product? :smoke:

How about we reverse it.

I would sell my 14B gladly to get a couple more inches. Go from ten to twelve.

Thats right ladies

I'd sell my broken wisdom tooth. It has a root canal done already, and half broken off due to giant cavity over the years.. finally one side broke off.
Never did get it fixed. Had insurance, gee will the fix? "well you have to jump through these hoops and bark like a seal. " So I told them to shove it.
So YOU can buy it for $1,000,000. if you also pay for it's removal.
Then I have some hair which fell out. A few hundred for that...
I am not much for selling body parts...

I would be getting the Bryston 28B-SST2 amps...

I told my wife about this post, and she said "Honey, you don't have that problem.  You still use your brain.  Sometimes."    :(

I find it terrifying, how sick and perverted this society has become where a teen sells his kidney for a piece of junk called iphone. It is the relentless feed of distorted values from mass media that makes people do such thing. I am not sure human kind has a future.

But the story came from China. I had no idea they were ruled by the same mass marketing we are subjected to.
As for your last sentence, I'm absolutely certain human kind's time is limited.

China today is fundamentally not different from any western country, it is driven by greed and profit above everything else.
