once again....question for James

Once more I seek a clear understanding about digital timing error. The BCD1 is self matched for best jitter. If I go out to a BDA1 will it also correct the timing to the same degree as the player by itself? Thanks ... : :thumb:

The jitter is typically lower in an integrated CD player (assuming you have done it correctly). The jitter in an external DAC will usually be somewhat higher. That being said we are dealing with jitter numbers in the low pico-second range between the BCD-1 and the BDA-1 devices so the engineering per specific device is a more important consideration than the type of device.

Thanks James. One more thing (sounds like Columbo) what would be the best connection to use between the two units? :?
