Today's Audio in Burton, Michigan (suburb of Flint, about an hour north of Detroit) has been a VMPS dealer for I don't know how long.

Had a few minutes to kill last Friday and stopped in (not in the market for speakers).  In the past they've had 626, RM1, RM2, RM40, etc. with ribbons and the older midrange drivers.  But this time they had the RMX with Ampzilla bi-amping, Ayre pre-amp & CD, and line isolation/conditioning (total $37,000).

Spent most of my limited time getting acquianted with "Sir" Red, the owner and but only a couple of minutes listening.  Red is a pragmatic, old-school guy who has to be convinced of new products, like audiophile cabling, or power conditioning and still doesn't have a use for tube amps.  Didn't have any of my own "audiophile" CD's with me, but it sounded good (full frequency coverage with good imaging for such big beasts).  As we're moving closer they may become "my" audio shop (not many out here in the wilderness).

BTW they also had RM30 and new surrounds.

Just wanted to let you all know that there's civilization in Michigan.
