...probably what I call the Zevon Effect (I just made it up). In the documentary The Wind, he spoke about the time we all have on this planet. About people who, for instance, collect books, more books than they can possibly read. He quoted someone who said that we are not really just buying the books, we're buying the time to read the books. So I'm really collecting time, right?

Looks like a few of us are gonna live forever!

And you thought I had some kinda illness, eh?

How about you?

I try to listen to everything I buy at least once. I'm not so good with some box sets I bought, but trying. I have a special shelf for newly purchased but not cleaned and heard and I seem to have trouble reducing the number on that shelf. :)

  • Without music, life would be a mistake.
I tend to cluster purchase.  IE, I discover a new artist (to me), via a cool album or song, and I then proceed to procure their entire catalog.  I've listened to a large chunk of my collection, but hardly all of it.  Then again, I'm not dead yet!

Those of you who have had the pleasure meeting me already know I'm nuts.

And posting "me" and "nuts" in the same sentence is also redundant.....................but "worthless" and "pleasure" seem to go hand-in-hand in this case.    :thumb:
