SOLD FS: DIY 2-ways from the Zaph site

I built these a couple years ago based on the design posted at the ZaphAudio website.
You can read the article here: http://zaphaudio.com/Givler1.html

They have a nice spacious sound, probably due to the ribbon tweeters and thorough crossover design.
The drivers came as matched pairs, so they have a pretty good stereo image also.
They are a bit lean in the bass, however. Probably best in smaller to midsized rooms.
Or add a subwoofer.
The cabinets were home made and have a respectable black lacquer finish.
But they are not glossy enough to be called "piano black"

Asking $300 for the pair plus whatever Fedex wants to deliver two 25 pound packages from zip 21208 to you.

Very nice.  Where else besides AC are you going to find a pair of speaks with ribbon tweeters for $300.  Might be perfect for bedroom system.

Pecker: Do you have any Idea what the sensitivity rating is for these speakers?

I don't have any way to measure absolute SPL levels. They are a little more sensitive than the average bookshelf...I'd estimate 86 to 87dB.
