I might be attending the WILD, but I need directions please.  I think I sent a PM requesting directions but I'm not sure, as I can't find a "sent messages" folder on the "My Messages" page.

I have three tarps layed out on the side yard, so there should be little problem getting up and out of the yard tomorrow. Just don't expect an immaculate patio, as the rain is precluding the good cleaning I was planning.

I'm looking at attending.  I will have albums and some gear for sale.
Me too. Please accept this RSVP in lieu of a call, unless you just so happened to call as you are wont to do. :green:

Rocketmotor, give me a ring. My cell number is posted above. The yard is ready to go, and in good shape.

Please do NOT bring your car into the yard if you do not have any gear for the swap jumble. No need to risk tearing up the side yard hill if you only have yourself.

Please do not park in the driveway - we are reserving that for Bill(DeadFish,) Bill G., and Bob A. My wife can also use a spot, as I don't want to get in a fight with her, but I will be paticular with this. They deserve and need a guaranteed accomadation.

We have on-street parking both before and after our house on both blocks of Sappington Barracks Road on the right hand side(north side,) as well as just over the hill on the right side of Buckley as you travel north. Be careful of the intersection, as it is a three way intersection at an angle...I don't want anyone getting hit by the frequently careless drivers we have transiting Sappington Barracks.

Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you!

Hey Everybody!

Wishing you a great tine today at Dave's Trade/Buy/Sell soiree. Really... I wish I could be there.

Say... a woman, who's a good friend, in my office is looking for a decent working turntable WITH cartridge and can spend around $100 or so... maybe, just maybe a little more. If among all the gear a record player appears that y'all think could work, please give me a shout over hear with a pic and brief description. I could be your off-site buyer!

Thanks and enjoy the day.

Dave!!! Many , many thanks man, for putting on this shindig!  I only wish there were two of me to enjoy the jawing and coming inside for some listning as well!
Your courtesy and kindness was over the top, and I appreciate it much.  It was a fine day, and there was plenty of room for folks to park and spread their wares.  Nope, couldn't have asked for nicer weather and no mud to have to drive out of.
And a great job, following me around to put a chair under my arse!  :thumb:
It was nice to get out of the house, and spend the day with y'all!!

Here we go. We had a few over twenty folks here, and plenty of gear. The jambalaya was smoking good this time, and lots of yapping, bragging, and bullshooting goin' on.

Liam gave an impromptu concert with trombone and trumpet.

It was great to see Bill and all the other friends and new visitors come in and have fun!

Thank you Dave for hosting this WILD swap meet.  I hope to return in the fall.

It was nice to meet everyone.  Good to know there are still some people that listen to only two channels!

Wanted to get over there but life is pretty busy these days.  Hopefully, I'll be able to make the next one!

Thanks Dave for the work and hospitality for a great event.  Enjoyed the talking, eating and selling/swapping/buying.

Bo, thanks for talking to the Shetland pony, and thanks everyone for coming on such a beautiful day. We truly were blessed with the best possible day for being outside and comfortable.

I think we may roll the next one over to our church gym, as I am hesitant to advertise on Craigslist and a couple other venues that would bring in crowds of people - something we wish to avoid at the house, but also the one essential thing we need to move more equipment. Being inside also negates the influence of bad weather, and our church is only three blocks north of the house, and it has a very large paved parking lot, so we could handle any crowd.
