So, Audyssey made the following settings to my system (SongTowers, SongCenter, Rythmik sub). Would you suggest keeping these settings or changing all to Small/80Hz crossover?

Front = Large
Center = Small
Surround = Small
Front Crossover = Full Band
Center = 40Hz
Surround = 60Hz

The risk that you overload the bass of the Songtowers exists at full range.

Suggest you set the mains at 60 to 80 hz area, center at 50 or 60, surrounds at 40 to 60 (your preferences).  I put my mains at large and center at large.  Not sure that if you manually set these to these frequencies if they hold at large or small.  I'm thinking you can force large if done manually so worth a shot.

For movies I would set all to small with crossovers somewhere between 60Hz and 80Hz.  Sometimes it's difficult to hear distortion while watching movies, especially if you're running a sub.  I prefer to be on the safe side and not risk any of my speakers with low frequencies.

For music you can run the songtowers full range or experiment with lower crossover points to see what works best with your sub.

I should have mentioned, my usage in priority order... (1) Surround music (SACD, DVD-A, Blu-Ray) (2) Two channel music (WMA Lossless via a HTPC) (3) Television and (4) Movies.

Does this alter any of the recommendations given?

Thanks.

No.  Set the center and mains to small, then use 60, 80 or 100Hz for the crossover (I use whichever blends the subwoofer with the mains best, which ended up being 100 for movies with my receiver and 80 with my preamp for music).
