I ordered a audio note kit2 and after looking at what resistors are used. I decided to build the clarinet to match the kit2. The kit2 being another story, still waiting on another tranny. I decided to tweak one of my dynamo st70 using sds board with tantalum resistors.
Well all I can say is why didn't I use tantalum resistors before? Yeah they cost more than the kiwames that I have using for last 10 years. The background is more black, the resistors totally get out of the way of the music.
Now my next project will be redoing my cornet 2.
system now is yamaha pf-800-> cornet 2->clarinet->dynamo st 70->audio nirvana 15" alnico in a 13.6 cab.
