Vintage Harman Kardon Citation V Tube Amplifier

The Citation amplifiers built Sidney Harman's reputation for high performance separates in the 60's after he invented the first integrated receiver in 1955. This amplifier was built from 1960-1964 and was a "kit" that the purchaser would finish assembly of at home as that was the style at that time. This unit is in superior cosmetic condition and was completely rebuilt and upgraded in January with over $350 in parts kits ordered from Jim McShane; the undisputed "Citation Guru". All tubes are new (NOS). This amplifier retains that "glass magic" in the midrange. It has a very controlled bottom end and possesses some of the best imaging from vintage tubes you'll hear. Original owner. An assembly and operations manual is included.
