This is a beautiful sounding Pilot SP-210 console removed preamp. I had a power supply made for it and together they make beautiful music. I tried all inputs and all good!.
The preamp has been recapped with Solen caps and some orange drops. I do not believe the large caps have been redone, but must have testes up to spec, and it cretainly sounds like its 100%. Only thing that I would do if I were you is change out the selenium rectifier, but it is certainly working allright with it.
Unit does have a top cover...its just off for the pictures.
Controls are 100% quiet ( deox'd them).
No tubes are included with the preamp, but I will include the tubes for the power supply.
