Hello James, for too long have we smelled the death of the CD Player. I fully agree with you that the need for one in the next, say, five years will be almost non existent. I am a 30 year old audiophile, and my day job is as a computer engineer. While I have built my own solid state music server and media centers for my personal two channel and home theater systems (consisting of gear such as Bryston, Naim, Totem, CA and NAD over the last few years and currently) what I would love to see from Bryston is a full on, High End, solid state, music streamer, with built in wifi. You guys did a great job with your solid state music player, great mods to the Sound card and nice integration with a mini itx form factor using the Linux or Unix programmed CF card. Great stuff. Why not take that to the next level by adding wifi, and OSD display output on the back for TV/Projector hookup and allow it to process and pass DTS and DD formats at least as PCM 5.1 to the amp for both movies and music. Maybe add a small SS hard drive for cashing to assure large streamed files do not lag. I wouldn't care if it cost the public 10K to have it. It would be an awesome, Canadian built product. Cheers.
