I am selling my Modwright SWP 9.0 SE phono stage. It is easily an 8/10 on the Audiogon scale. I could not find a scratch or knick. It has sat in my enclosed rack or the box for my entire ownership.
I purchased the phono stage from an authorized dealer in March 2007 and it has remained a reference in my system until now. At the time I bought the SWP 9.0 SE it displaced some much higher priced and well regarded phono stages I used in my system.
The SWP 9.0 SE will include the manual and will be shipped in its original box (that is very secure). The preamp includes all the original tubes.
As a bonus, I will include my upgraded 1958 cryo-treated 5687 Ratheons (Tungsols) and my 1962 Mullard 5AR4 rectifier tube. I bought these NOS tubes from Tube World when I first got the preamp so I never used the 5687WA tubes or Sovtek 5AR4 tubes from Dan. I will include the unused 5687 and 5AR4 tubes in the deal. I will also include two Herbie's HAL-O 9 tube dampers for the 5687 tubes and a HAL-O 27 for the 5AR4 tube. I used these with success on the Modwright.
I am asking $1575 plus shipping for this incredible phono stage. Please, no international deals. Look at my feedback and buy with confidence.
