I wonder why this approach hasn't been more popular commercially, a fast, big short-stroke woofer and a dipole Heil AMT tweeter on a rigid, open baffle. Simple two-way with a low crossover (700Hz) and impressive build. What's not to like besides the price, of course?

Very interesting speaker, and good looking too. It looks like it's passive design? Wonder what woofer is that, wings are shallow, baffle is narrow, sensitivity 92 db and claimed response is down to 30 Hz...if passive, that's really remarkable...

Yes, it is passive, on the other picture you can see single speaker posts at the bottom and the entire back side covered with a grille.
